Belinda is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Team Leader in a quaternary Intensive Care Unit in Sydney. Belinda has extensive experience in nursing education and intensive care clinical practice, having held previous roles as a Nurse Educator, post-graduate course coordinator in Intensive Care and as a Lecturer at University of Technology, Sydney. In 2020 she contributed to the delivery of an ICU nursing upskill program within her organisation and in 2022 commenced her PhD at UTS to research the critical care nursing education requirements to equip nurses for deployment to the ICU to augment Australian ICU capacity in times of surge.

Dr Jakimowicz has made a significant contribution to the nursing and healthcare professions through education, research and professional practice. She is an experienced researcher, academic, nursing professional and qualified psychotherapist. Her profile has been built around shaping health and advancing nursing through wellbeing support and advocacy. Her work is based on empathy, congruence and compassion. Samantha has led and continues to lead large research and education projects partnering with industry partners such as Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, State Health Departments and educational facilities.

 Tracy Levett-Jones is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney. She is a world-leading nursing researcher who leads the Planetary Health Collaborative and Empathy Initiative research group. Tracy is ranked in the world’s top 1% of nursing scientists by Stanford University and she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Researcher Hall of Fame in 2022. Tracy’s program of research includes planetary health, empathy and patient safety. She has written ten books and over 250 journal publications. Tracy has been the recipient of multiple awards and over seven million dollars of research funding.
